White Tea For Weight Watchers
New research from Germany, published in the open-access journal Nutrition and Metabolism, reveals that white tea apparently has potential anti-obesity effects.
White tea is manufactured from the new buds and first leaves of the same plant used to make the black and green teas so popular in Western countries. But since white tea is less processed than its "cousins," it's believed to have more of the antioxidants (e.g., EGCG) and other healthy ingredients than do the other varieties. But does white tea deliver on these suggested benefits?
